Word on the street is that weekdays equal shorter lines. Hit the big coasters first thing for minimal waits. Hungry? Skip the chain restaurants and find the local food stands – way better!
La Ronde keeps things fresh. They’re always adding new stuff, so even regulars find surprises. It’s part of Montreal’s biggest park, so bring walking shoes and plan to explore the island. You won’t find a better view of the city.
La Ronde Map 2025
In May 2025, La Ronde removed the historic Galopant carousel from its official park map and ride list, marking the end of its presence at the park since Expo 67. The carousel, originally built in 1885, had its final season of operation in 2019 after its 19th-century music organ ceased functioning two decades earlier, and by 2025 it had remained unmaintained and in a deteriorating state without preservation or continued upkeep.
