ABQ BioPark Zoo Map and Brochure (2025 – 2021)
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Years Active: 1927 – Active
The ABQ BioPark Zoo is a must-visit. It’s got polar bears, snakes, elephants – you name it! This place isn’t just about staring at animals, though. They make learning about conservation fun. Plus, it’s right by the Rio Grande, which is a great place to chill out before or after your zoo trip.
Want the animals all to yourself? Get there early. The crowds later on can make some of the critters a little shy. Want the inside scoop on new exhibits and special animal feedings? Follow their social media – they always post the good stuff!
The zoo’s not perfect. Some enclosures feel a bit small, and frankly, hot New Mexico days can be rough on the animals. But they’re always working to improve, and the staff’s passion is obvious. It’s a growing zoo, and there’s a lot of exciting stuff in the works for visitors and animals alike.
