In 2025, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom’s Halloween Haunt introduced a major addition with the transformation of the Steel Yard area into the new scare zone STEEL YARD: FORGE YOUR FeAR, tied to the Iron Menace roller coaster’s backstory.
Guests could also experience night rides on the all-new Iron Menace coaster, alongside seven haunted mazes and six scare zones. The event ran from September 12 to November 2, 2025, continuing as a large-scale seasonal offering.

Wildwater Kingdom in Aurora, Ohio closed permanently in September 2016 due to declining attendance and strategic changes by its owner Cedar Fair. The site was later sold for redevelopment, and the water park’s structures were demolished in 2017.
