Seoul Land Map 2025

In 2025, Seoul Land introduced several new and promoted features. On April 24, the Kraken Island water playground officially opened as a major addition. On May 29, the park highlighted the Christmas 365 Town event as a year-round feature. June 20 saw the debut of The Game: Water Wars as a seasonal offering.

July included multiple updates, with the King of Games attraction promoted, the Summer Fireworks Festival scheduled, and an updated guest etiquette guide published.

How do I get to Seoul Land?

Seoul Land is located in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, inside Seoul Grand Park. To get there, take Seoul Subway Line 4 and get off at Seoul Grand Park Station (Exit 2); from the exit, you can walk about 15–20 minutes or take the paid Elephant Train to the main gate. Buses and taxis are also available, but the subway is the fastest and most convenient option for most visitors.

What’s the history behind Seoul Land?

Seoul Land opened on May 10, 1988, in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, as South Korea’s first large modern amusement park. It was built in conjunction with the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games to showcase Korea’s cultural and economic progress to the world. The park’s design integrated Korean traditional motifs and modern entertainment, establishing it as a symbol of the country’s rapid modernization and tourism development in the late 20th century.

How much does it cost to enter Seoul Land?

As of October 2025, Seoul Land admission costs ₩52,000 for adults, ₩46,000 for youths, and ₩43,000 for children for a day-time ticket. Night-time admission is slightly cheaper at ₩45,000 for adults, ₩39,000 for youths, and ₩36,000 for children. Optional attractions like the Sky X ride cost ₩19,000–₩29,000 per person, and paddle boats are ₩5,000 per person.

How big is Seoul Land?

Seoul Land covers about 300,000 square meters within the Seoul Grand Park complex in Gwacheon. Roughly one-third of the area is green space, while the rest hosts about 40 rides, theaters, and themed zones.
