  In response to “can I bring my dog to Southwick’s zoo?: No, you cannot bring your dog to Southwick’s Zoo. The zoo has a strict policy prohibiting pets on the premises. This rule is in place for the health and safety of both the zoo animals and visitors. There are only two exceptions to this policy:
  - Service Dogs: In compliance with ADA regulations, trained service dogs are allowed in the zoo. However, service dog handlers must check in at the Guest Services window upon entry.
  - Emotional Support Animals: Pets providing emotional support, comfort, or companionship are not recognized as service animals under ADA regulations and are not permitted in the zoo.

  - Visitors are not allowed to leave pets in their cars while visiting the zoo.
  - Service dogs are restricted from certain areas of the zoo for safety reasons, including the Deer Forest, Petting Zoo, Parakeet Aviary, Elk Forest, and Bird Show Area.
