Adventureland Map and Brochure (2021 – 2024)
Location: Farmingdale, New York
Years Active: 1962 – Active
Adventureland NY isn’t trying to impress you with fancy tech or immersive worlds. This is classic Long Island β a little faded, a little rough around the edges, and totally unapologetic about it. Think more community fair than Disney Worldβ¦ with a side of greasy food and questionable life choices.
Love a rickety coaster that sounds like it might fall apart? Turbulence is your jam. They’ve got some family rides too, but let’s be real, the best ones are the slightly terrifying ones they probably haven’t updated in decades. Their Halloween stuff is gloriously cheesy β exactly what you want.
If you crave order and efficiency, this ain’t your place. Lines are chaotic, parking’s a joke, and don’t be surprised if a ride randomly shuts down. Just roll with it, that’s part of the Adventureland experience.
Honestly, the park’s kind of a hot mess. But it’s OUR hot mess, and there’s something weirdly endearing about it. They’re always adding stuff (some of it questionable), so who knows what this place will look like in a few years? One thing’s for sure, it’ll never be boring.
