Alabama Splash Adventure Map and Brochure (2024 – 2021)
Location: Bessemer, Alabama
Years Active: 1998 – Active
Alabama Splash Adventure…it’s not the biggest or the most cutting-edge water park out there. But this place has a down-home charm that keeps families coming back. You’ll find some seriously thrilling slides, like the crazy UpSurge, plus plenty of chill splash zones for the little ones. They even have old-school carnival rides – think rickety wooden roller coasters with surprising bite!
Want a real insider tip? The park isn’t always super crowded. Go on a weekday, and you might just have the wave pool to yourself. Those old-timey rides often have shorter lines than the flashy new ones.
Alabama Splash Adventure throws good parties, too. Their fireworks on the Fourth of July rock, and Christmas in July is just plain weird…which kids absolutely love. It’s a little cheesy, sure, but isn’t that part of the fun? Some people gripe about the prices, and the food isn’t exactly gourmet, but honestly? It’s the kind of place where memories are made, not Michelin stars earned.
