Alaska Native Heritage Center Map 2025
In 2025, the Alaska Native Heritage Center introduced three major exhibitions: Nats’itsatna highlighting the Ancient Dena’ina People, Dena’ina Quht’ana as the first permanent exhibition honoring the Dena’ina Athabascan, and Education in Alaska documenting the boarding school era. A $26 million campus expansion was announced, adding a community subsistence kitchen, community hall, healing garden, and renovated theater. Updates also included new Hall of Cultures exhibits, ten Indigenous-led monuments, and Bloomberg Connects app digital navigation.
