BonBon-Land Map and Brochure (2024 – 2023)
Location: Holme Olstrup, Denmark
Years Active: 1991 – Active
BonBon-Land isn’t your ordinary theme park. It’s weird, sometimes a bit gross, and absolutely unforgettable. Think rollercoasters with giant dog butts and cheerful characters based on…well, poop. But somehow, this place works! Kids adore it, and adults secretly get a kick out of the absurdity.
Want to beat the crowds? Get there right at opening or during the last hour before closing. Hungry? Skip the overpriced park food and pack a picnic – they allow it! Be warned, some rides are surprisingly intense, even if they look tame. “Vildsvinet” might seem like a classic wooden coaster, but be prepared for some serious thrills.
BonBon-Land is constantly growing. Word is there are some big new rides in the works. We can’t wait to see what crazy stuff they come up with next!
Is BonBon-Land for kids?
BonBon-Land is primarily designed as a family-oriented amusement park catering to a wide range of age groups, with a particular focus on children. Established in 1992, this Danish theme park is renowned for its whimsical and child-friendly attractions, colorful characters, and a vibrant atmosphere that is intended to provide entertainment and enjoyment for kids and their families. The park features a variety of rides, shows, and interactive experiences tailored to young visitors, making it a popular destination for families looking for a day of fun and laughter.
What was the first attraction at BonBon-Land?
The inaugural attraction at BonBon-Land was “The Hen” (Danish: “Hønsetårnet”), a distinctive observation tower built in 1992. This tower, shaped like a giant chicken, set the playful and eccentric tone that has become a hallmark of the park. Visitors could ascend the tower to enjoy panoramic views of the park and its surroundings. The chicken-themed design of this attraction was a precursor to the quirky and imaginative themes that would be featured in the various rides and experiences that followed, solidifying BonBon-Land’s reputation as a unique and whimsical amusement park.
