Christmas at Schnepf Farms gets the Christmas thing right. Yeah, it’s in the desert, but they go all out to make you forget that. Lights everywhere, the kind of over-the-top stuff that makes kids go nuts. They change up the theme every year, so if you’ve been before, it won’t be a total repeat.
Opens early December – get there the first weekend if you can. Crowds get crazy later in the month. Expect classic stuff like meeting Santa and carriage rides, but the food is surprisingly good. Not just hot chocolate and cookies, but real local vendors.
