Diggerland USA was founded by Ilya Girlya and Yan Girlya in 2014. The brothers had been in the construction business most of their lives. They eventually transitioned into the amusement and water park industry. Because their family had been in construction, they wanted to see if it was possible to allow families and children to safely use and experience the machines they had been around as children. They also felt exposing young learners to trades would be exciting, educational, and eye-opening.
