Opened at the foot of Mt. Fuji in 1997, the park was only open for ten years as it failed quickly. The location wasn’t great; its neighbors included an infamous suicide forest and a known cult in the nearby village. The park now sits abandoned and is often recognized as one of the world’s creepiest theme parks.
