Hawaiian Falls Mansfield is your standard Texas waterpark. It’s got the slides and pools you’d expect, and the tropical theme is a nice touch. If you’re local, it’s a decent way to kill a hot afternoon, but don’t expect a mind-blowing experience.
The lines get Long on weekends. If you hate crowds, go on a weekday or try to arrive right when they open. The food is pricey and nothing special. You can bring a cooler, but they’ll charge you a fee.
Want a real thrill? Skip the big slides everyone flocks to. Some of the smaller ones can be surprisingly fun, and you’ll spend less time waiting. If you have little ones, Keiki Kove is a good spot – a bit less chaotic. They do have festivals and events sometimes.
