The park from 1986-1988 was rebranded as Boyertown USA, even featuring the famous Mallo Cup as a mascot, and included a number of additions to the park. This included the Skyliner Roller Coaster, which had previously been relocated from Roseland Park in Jamestown, NY.  After the successful relocation of another Philadelphia Toboggan coaster, Phoenix at Knoebels, Boyer management decided to try and emulate their success. In total the park had put in 1.5 million dollars into the renovations.
