In 2024, Universal Orlando Resort introduced several major additions. Universal Studios Florida opened DreamWorks Land on June 14, along with the nighttime lagoon show CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular.
On July 3, the park debuted its largest daytime parade, Universal Mega Movie Parade. Islands of Adventure added the Hogwarts Always projection show in Hogsmeade.
Other changes included the removal of Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl, the debut of Sing It! and Curious George play area, and Volcano Bay’s new raft ride Te Waka Wai.
