You’ll find it in Kentucky right on the Ohio River – a cool spot to watch the water and explore the deep. This place is seriously dedicated to ocean life – they teach you, they protect the animals, AND they make it super fun.
Okay, must-sees: Shark Realm will give you chills. Picture a huge tunnel with sharks circling over your head. Penguin Island is the opposite vibe – total cuteness overload. There’s a ton of other stuff too, like a rainforest exhibit and a super colorful coral display.
Crowds get heavy. Weekday mornings are way better if you want to avoid the rush. Over a million people visit every year (wow!), so the aquarium is committed to protecting the animals. They even have exciting new exhibits in the works!
