Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary isn’t your average petting zoo. This place is wild. Over 1,500 rescued animals live on their huge Georgia property. You’ll find tigers, bears, wolves… even Zuri, a rare white Bengal tiger. Some come from shady situations – bad zoos, illegal owners, that sort of thing.
This place has a long history. It started tiny, way back in 1978. They bounced around a bit before landing in Locust Grove. Noah’s Ark even runs a foster home for kids – good people, but they’ve got their hands full.
Now, here’s the real stuff you won’t find in the brochures: Noah’s Ark isn’t Disneyland. It’s dusty, it can be loud, and sometimes, things smell a little funky. But that’s real life for these animals. If you want a sanitized experience, this isn’t it. If you want to see rescued animals getting a second chance, come on down.
