Kemah Boardwalk Map 2025

In 2025, Kemah Boardwalk began construction on a new water park entrance at the former Joe’s Crab Shack site, with work starting in July. The park permanently removed the Playground and Dancing Water Fountains to make space for future additions. Midway Games transitioned to a card-only system, no longer accepting cash.

Additionally, Kipp Avenue at 6th Street was closed to east and westbound traffic during fireworks and select special events throughout the summer.
