Splashdown Waterpark Map and Brochure (2023 – 2025)
Location: Manassas, Virginia
Years Active: 1996 – Active
Splashdown Waterpark has been Virginia’s summer staple since 1996. It’s a classic for a reason – the mix of old-school thrills and relaxing zones hits the spot for families. But it’s not perfect. Lines get LONG on weekends, and those twisting water slides aren’t for the faint of heart.
Want to beat the crowds? Go on weekday mornings. Attractions open later, but who cares? You’ll snag a prime spot by the lagoon. Best slide for daredevils is definitely the “Riptide.” It’s older, a bit rougher, and absolutely launches you into the pool. Younger kids will love the splash zones – bring water shoes since the concrete gets hot!
Splashdown does festivals too, mostly music and food trucks. Hit those up if you like a crowd, but they do add to the parking chaos.
If you’re looking for a chill time by the pool, Splashdown probably isn’t your vibe. But for mixed-age groups or anyone who loves a classic waterpark, it’s worth the trip.
