The Funplex. You’ve heard the hype. But is this New Jersey amusement park actually worth the trip? It depends. They pack a lot onto those 25 acres – a water park, tons of rides (indoors and out), a classic arcade…it can be overwhelming.
If you love classic amusement park chaos, this place delivers. If you hate crowds and long lines, steer clear during peak season. Weekdays are way better, and sometimes they run evening specials.
The rides are a mixed bag. Some serious thrills for older kids, but the younger ones might find options limited. The water park’s their big draw in summer — it’s decent but gets packed.
Food’s what you expect: overpriced and nothing amazing. Pack snacks if you can. But hey, the arcade’s legit, and that alone might be worth it if you’re into old-school gaming.
