Nanjing Happy Valley might be exactly what you’re looking for, or it might be kind of a tourist trap. It depends on what you like! It’s got the standard theme park stuff – roller coasters, kiddie rides, the whole bit. The Gravity Max coaster is pretty intense, so be ready for that.
One cool thing about Happy Valley is the shows. If you’re into cheesy-but-fun performances, they’ve got some decent ones. But if you’re traveling all the way to China, you might find better entertainment elsewhere in Nanjing.
The lines can get crazy, especially on weekends. Consider springing for a fast pass if you hate waiting. Also, the food is overpriced theme-park standard. If you can sneak snacks in, do it!
