SplashDown Beach Water Park…it’s a decent little water park in Fishkill, NY. Sure, it’s no Disney-level spectacle, but locals have been flocking there since 2005 for a reason. If you’re looking for some splashy fun, it delivers.
Their star attraction? The Megalodon. Sounds epic, right? It’s a big slide, but be warned – lines get LONG. If thrills are your thing, grab a friend for the Arctic Plunge Racer. Looking to chill instead? The Croc Creek Lazy River has your name on it.
Want to beat the crowds? Go on weekdays. Seriously, weekends are a madhouse. Also, pack your own snacks. Park food is pricey and nothing special.
SplashDown Beach throws the occasional summer bash. Not Coachella, mind you, but they try. Check their website for what’s on.
