Ocean Beach Park Map and Brochure (2019 – 2023)
Location: New London, Connecticut
Years Active: 1928 – Active
Ocean Beach Park isn’t some glossy newcomer. It’s been a New London tradition since back in 1928. The sand’s perfect, the water’s usually calm – great for families. But if you’re bored with building sandcastles, Ocean Beach has plenty more up its sleeve.
Think classic boardwalk vibes. Mini-golf, an old-school carousel, even a giant Olympic-sized pool if the ocean gets too chilly. Weekdays are way less crowded than weekends, and parking’s easier to find.
They’re always throwing some kind of party at Ocean Beach. Fireworks, bands on the boardwalk… sometimes things get a little rowdy, which might not be your thing if you have little kids. Check their events calendar before you go.
