Roseland Waterpark it’s a Finger Lakes tradition, but don’t expect some swanky resort experience. The slides are a riot, but the paint’s peeling, the bathrooms have seen better days, and those locker room floors? Let’s just say flip-flops are a must.
Still, it’s the only game in town when the heat is unbearable. The Wave Pool is decent, and kids go wild for the splash zones. Want a spot to actually sit down? Get there when they open or be prepared to fight for a chair.
The food is classic overpriced theme park fare – think limp fries and questionable pizza. If you’re picky, pack your own cooler. Roseland’s got a relaxed vibe about outside food, which is a plus. They also do some surprisingly decent events – keep an eye out for those to spice things up.
